Using digital performance to exceed the targets set by the Private Equity owners

The objective.

Crumpler is a well known brand selling a great product. While Crumpler was effectively capturing the traffic from the brand, they had a feeling they could do better and wanted more from their existing agencies – to be more proactive, agile and accountable for their work and results. Sonar won the Crumpler business as a result of a competitive pitch.

The solution.

Sonar provided a different approach to digital performance focusing on the end goal/KPI and considering the collective roles of the channels to meet that goal. This also involved a focus on paid social and broader display, including the use of programmatic advertising, and trialing new channels, with the clear over-arching KPI in mind.

The results.

Sonar has consistently exceeded the KPIs set from the outset by 25% or more. As a result, we have earned the trust of the Crumpler client and Private Equity owners resulting in a substantial increase in media budget, and increase in the number of digital performance channels under our remit.
